Curriculum

Our curriculum offers many varied opportunities for parents, grandparents and community members to participate within school activities. To actively support and enhance a diversity of curriculum areas, there are a wide variety of enrichment programs implemented at our school.

Our school classes are organized in seven straight grades and one composite. We provide a comprehensive curriculum focusing on the three learning domains using recognised teaching and learning strategies designed to meet the individual needs of all students. Our teaching staff have specific subject area skills, thus the Victorian Education Learning Standards domains are undertaken via a mix of specialist and generalist teachers.

Class teachers are responsible for the delivery of the Victorian Learning of:

  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Humanities

“Specialist” sessions conducted on a rotational basis deliver:

  • L.O.T.E (Japanese)
  • Performing Arts (all dimensions)
  • Library
  • Information and Communications Technology
